Response: You don’t NEED a guru but having one sure makes your spiritual growth a whole lot easier and faster. A guru who knows the intricacies of the science of yoga imparts techniques and processes specifically tailored for the individual so what would take years to accomplish can be realized in months. I want you to imagine trying to learn to build a rocket ship without a teacher. It can be done but if you’re like me it’s problematic to put some toys together from the supplied instruction sheet let alone a rocket ship. Get my point?
